I like naming songs, and the process for naming this one went something along the lines of:

• Hmmm, need to make a tune for my paper which is about storage...
• Storage is "stockage" in French, but that's not very sexy...
• Maybe I could call it "Stocky", and have it sound a bit like a rugby player on a night out?
• Yeah, it will sound a bit like Troglodyte by Culture Shock!

Then I happened to meet some people at a bar (woo, I can drink in a bar again!) who were psyched about me wearing Birkenstocks. Rightly so! They're the best shoe to be worn in the summer.

So there you have it - Birkenstocky! Is it a bit terrible? Yes. But I have other things to do with my life (like sleep).
